Lip Balm (Heather’s favorite):
3 T beeswax pellets*
2 T cocoa butter* 1/4 c. avocado oil
10 drops vitamin E oil (we like Trader Joe's)
15-20 drops peppermint essential oil*
Melt wax, avocado oil and cocoa butter in a double boiler. Remove from heat, add vitamin E and peppermint and pour into 12-15 lip balm tubes* or small tins*.
2 T coconut oil
1 T cocoa butter*
1 T sweet almond oil*
2 T beeswax*
1/4 tsp peppermint essential oil*
Gently melt the cocoa butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, and beeswax in a double boiler (or in a glass bowl set on top of a sauce pot of simmering water).
Remove from heat and then stir in the peppermint essential oil. Quickly pour the melted oil into 12 lip balm tubes*.
