Today, we’re talking about things we LOVE.
Like SAVVY MINERALS Make up from Young living. It is beautiful mineral powders that go on with a misting spray to make them temporarily liquid. It makes for such a silky smooth application and flawless finish. And there are foundation colors for just about every skin type. Plus eye shadows, bronzers, blushes, veils, and all things lips!
We also like Primal Life Organics. These guys are doing awesome work in the dental, deodorant and sun protection areas. Including safe charcoal! They even just came out with this interesting whitening light system and we're very intrigued since it promises no sensitivity.
We're totally digging Thrive Causemetics mascara right now. No clumping, and it’s not super heavy, so you don’t look “made up” if you just want to throw some on and run some errands.
We also like Mineral Fusion Volumizing Mascara for when we want a little more drama. Plus, it comes in Chestnut which goes with redheaded coloring really well.
Physicians Formula mascara is easy to get, drug store priced and lasts really well.
We love the lipstick from Savvy Minerals, and recently found Zoya’s lip gloss. Its thick, with nice tints and smells lovely.
For my nails… we only use Zoya polish. It’s been awarded as the longest wearing natural nail polish by an independent panel in Women’s Health Magazine, and is free of toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin and DBP. There are now over 400 colors!! We can get at least a week, if not 10 days from a home manicure.
For dental care, we’ve already talked about the Thieves line from Young Living. There is toothpaste, mouthwash, floss all with yummy Thieves! We particularly like Thieves AromaBright toothpaste, but we also like PLO tooth powder and recently tried the charcoal toothpaste from up-and-comer, Native.
We really like Schmidt’s toothpaste. It can be found at Costco, so it's well priced. We also like the Trader Joes fennel & myrrh – fluoride free and Tom’s peppermint toothpaste.
Native also sells deodorant and soap (both bar and liquid). They have a lot of great scents in both. Use our link for a free travel deodorant with your first purchase.
We also like Lume for deodorant. Not as fancy with all the scents as Native, but it really does work. And it doesn’t have baking soda, so no itchy, red marks.
Clearly…. Ditching the crap that is full of chemicals and switching to one of these would be a great idea.
